Their job is to review and consider for approval all plans for modifications to or creation of improvements upon the Lots, including landscaping changes, and shall determine whether the covenants, Association Rules and other Building and Design Regulations have been complied with as to any particular Lot. The Protective Covenants for Chenango charge the Architectural Control Committee ( “ACC”) with the duty of insuring that exterior alterations to the homes in Chenango conform to a standard of quality workmanship, quality materials and a harmony of design within the community. The Committee has developed these Architectural Standards to guide its decision making process and to assist homeowners planning alterations to their homes.
ACC Meeting Schedule– The Architectural Control Committee set the meetings for the first Tuesday of each month. All start at 6:30 PM and the meeting locations vary.
It is advisable to call or email Brian several days before a Board or ACC meeting to find out the location and to make sure they have not been canceled due to a change in circumstances.
Most of the time, the ACC is able to review requests and get owners approval without holding a meeting, so get your request to Brian and he will forward the request to the ACC. If a meeting is needed, the owners will be contacted. It may be a formal meeting, or it may just be a site visit. Brian can be reached at 720-939- 9412 or contacted via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
